In copious amounts!
(copious is just an awesome word)
MOST IMPORTANTLY because i have an art sale going on DECEMBER 12TH.
as part of the monthly Art Walk in downtown long beach ^-^
here's a link to the event:
2nd Saturday Long Beach Art Walk It's from 4pm-10pm, and there will be lots of awesome people selling gorgeous stuff! if you're in town, please stop by. My partner-in-crime Emily and I will be sharing a booth ( #44, right by the entrance to Lafayette), and she's got some very snazzy jewelry for sale ;D i'll be pawning off my glass/ceramic stuff, along with a handful of my own jewelry. hopefully i can get some glass roses done between now and then; those seem to sell very well.
So come visit us! it's FREE, and SPARKLEY, and AWESOME.
YES IT IS.
aside from this, i've earned my open water AND advanced certification in SCUBA. hellz yeah!
both classes were incredible -- the advanced class in Avalon, Catalina was unforgettable.
i'm clearly still all SQUEEEE about it. there's been a lot of "are you EXCITED about the next dive? because I AM! *HAPPY SCUBA DANCE*" -ing going on, pretty much continuously, since last thursday XD
the really cool critters i saw on my 6 dives at casino point:
an octopus, 2 lobsters <3, A HARBOR SEAL

, lots of kelp bass, halflings, blacksmith, catalina goby, a few blackeye goby (cuute). and some super-adorable likkle bitty baby kelp bass hanging out in the Sargasso weed (which is really pretty, but an invasive species). i was happy to see there were hardly ANY sea urchins, b/c as anyone who dives off the CA coast will tell you, the reefs are over run by urchins. good job humans, killing off the sea otters and sheephead >.< so yeah, that was pretty cool.
The night dive was spooky and exciting. glow sticks are my new best friend. really excited to do another night dive soon ^-^
deep dive (to 105ft) was also interesting, but cold. nothing much to see past 50ft anyway, so i dunno that i'll be diving deep very much. the navigation dives have gotten rid of any anxiety i ever may have had about diving. anyone want ideas for an Xmas gift? dive knife or dive compass, for sure.
classes are 'eh' at best, and finals are approaching; i'll be glad when the semesters over. biology finals are going to be crazy. urg. i'll be done as of 12/17.
then: freedom! i'll be diving and blowing glass every frikkin chance i get!

better be prepared to be abducted for dive-related adventures the minute he steps off the plane.
WHOOYEAH.
Have a DELICIOUS and stress-free Turkey Day!
see ya 12/12 in LB

If there weren't so many stupid people, the world would be so much more serious. Thank God for idiots.
